Picture(s) of the week - August 2011
August, 30th Irene visited the East Coast this past week end. This hurricane weakened into a tropical storm. But 12 died, there were floods, many trees were uprooted, and 350 000 people were evacuated from New York City
. Here are some pictures of people preparing for the hurricane and pictures after the storm.

August, 22th - Last Saturday, I was the photographer at the Steve & Graces wedding. Let me introduce you to this lovely couple by 5 pictures. All my best wishes to them.
August, 15th - I realized that I didnt have any pictures of New York in the Pictures of the Week section. So here there are! A number of people requested photographs of the Big Apple, and for all of you who come from places other than New York, I promise to post more of these pictures regularly.
August, 8th - as promised, I went again to the skate park to see Grant and his friends. Once more, these teenagers impressed me a lot. This time I focused particularly on two teenagers, one with a BMX and the other one with a scooter. Both were totally incredible. There are only four pictures, but, a larger number will be in the project Gravity: Zero in My Current Work hopefully by next week. The entire project will be in black & white/color form, and the postproduction for this takes more time.
August, 1st - Im not homesick, but this week I decided to bring you to visit one French medieval village. Perouges, its the name of this village, is really small. The cars are forbidden, and walking in these streets is like going back to the past. As each city or French village, Perouges have its own culinary specialty, the Sugar Pie with Lemon (Not really recommended to the diabetic). This is the link on Wikipedia, and the official website of this village .
