Picture(s) of the Week - February 2012
February, 27th - This time thePicture(s) of the week are different. I dont know if these pictures will be liked as well the previous ones, but sometimes you need to follow your heart. In each of my photography projects, I try to take a unique perspective to show a part of the world; something new or something beautiful. Unfortunately, our entire world is not beautiful. I invite you to explore these photos which reflect a forsaken part of our society. Dont forget
dont look away.
February, 20th - Alas, Star Wars fans. These are not pictures from Hoth, but a hotel made of ice and snow. Snow walls with ice furniture, decorative touches of fur on the seats - an authentic atmosphere. One can easily be mistaken and imagine one is in the middle of a Sci-Fi movie. Some walls in this hotel go as wide as 8 meters and some ceilings as high as 9 meters. The construction took 3 weeks, including the extra time required to recreate the intricate carving on the chairs in the chapel. Special thanks to our guide Mathieu. The pictures will be your guide you through the bed rooms, the restaurant, the bar, the chapel and the lobby of this hotel. Enjoy
February, 13th - Here are some pictures taken in the CSHL hillside café, where several of the portraits I took during the 76th CSHL Symposium for the Human Face of Science project are displaying. Enjoy
February, 6th - Here are some pictures of the Monster Mini Golfs decorations. All are in the dark with fluorescent glowing light. Very interesting and original. Enjoy
