February 20th - This week in the “Picture(s) of the Week” Alas, Star Wars fans. These are not pictures from Hoth, but a hotel made of ice and snow. Snow walls with ice furniture decorated with fur on the seats - purely an authentic atmosphere. One can easily mistaken himself as being in the middle of a Sci-Fi movie. Some walls of this hotel go as high as 8 meters and some ceilings are 9 meters high. The construction took 3 weeks, including the 20 minutes in order to sculpt a chair in the church. Special thank you to our guide Mathieu. The pictures will guide you through the rooms, the restaurant, the bar, the chapel and the lobby of this hotel. Enjoy…

So, since the beginning of the year, my website has had 52,139 visits, on average 2,128.60 unique visitors per month from more than 40 countries (see the map) viewing the 1,171 online pictures. The project “Human Face of Science” was attentively followed, as well as the “Picture(s) of the Week”. A large proportion of my visitors came from Facebook.

I will try to do my best to continue to please you (and myself)… I am thinking about new projects, I am just starting some now and I will continue the projects started in 2011 such as “Gravity: Zero”. I hope to show you the first pictures soon.

At least three travels are planed before June, meaning more pictures, more wallpaper or screensaver in the “Goodies” section…

Most important of all, I want to thank all of you who cheer me on, share or “Like” my website on Facebook, send me emails to congratulate me or help me to improve my skills. So again :
